Animal testing is a process in which experiments are conducted on animals to determine whether new drugs or treatments are safe and effective. These experiments are mainly carried out in hospitals, university laboratories, and pharmaceutical companies. Since it is not possible to test directly on humans, animals that show similar reactions to humans are tested first. This helps ensure safety, reduce dangerous side effects, and ultimately provide better treatments.
Animal testing is an essential step in developing treatments for everything from minor illnesses like the common cold to serious conditions such as Parkinson’s disease, ALS, and cancer. However, countless animals are sacrificed in the process as substitutes for humans.
We decided to build the world’s best behavior analysis software to help reduce that sacrifice.
With that vision of becoming a new star in the field of animal behavior analysis, the Actnova team was born—
to create a tool that can analyze experimental videos with incredible accuracy and intelligence.
Just imagine: one day, we may go beyond analyzing real animals, and instead analyze virtual animals—trusting the results just as much.
When that day comes, countless animal sacrifices may no longer be necessary.
